5x5 and Teacher Arts Grants (TAG)

5×5 and Teacher Arts Grants (TAG) support K-12 teachers and administrators in enhancing classroom instruction throughout the Fund for the Arts service area. The teacher and administrator application for school year 2024-2025 is open July 22September 6, 2024.

Event Artist Application

The Event Artist Application creates a roster featuring artists and organizations of various disciplines who wish to perform or activate audiences as part of community events, hosted in partnership with Fund for the Arts.
Deadlines: Rolling (Apply by July 15, 2024 to be considered for Fall events)
We welcome applications from: Greater Louisville individuals, collectives of artists, groups or organizations with OR without tax-exempt status.

Community Event Mini-Grant

Mini-Grants support the implementation of short-term or one-time innovative and creative events that engage communities. This grant program is part of the Arts in Neighborhoods initiative.
Deadlines: July 19, 2024 (due to the tech outage, applications are now due July 22, 11:59 pm); October 18, 2024; January 17, 2025; April 18, 2025
We welcome applications from: Individual artists, arts organizations, or community groups looking to host an in-person neighborhood event that includes arts.

Sustaining Impact Grants

Unrestricted, operating grants for nonprofit arts organizations. Pre-Application Deadline: March 22. Application Deadline: June 14. We welcome applications from: Greater Louisville nonprofit arts organizations. See Grant Guidelines for more information on eligibility. 

Teaching Artists and Organizations Directory

The purpose of the Directory is to identify and promote teaching artists and/or arts organizations, and to connect teaching artists and/or arts organizations with community partners.  
Deadline: Ongoing

Cultural Pass Venue Registration

The Cultural Pass provides free access to many of Greater Louisville’s arts and cultural institutions for youth.
2024 Venue Registration is now closed.

HeARTS

HeARTS is an arts initiative supported by Louisville Metro Government that will provide arts programs in community centers and public places across the city. HeARTS is an investment in art as a powerful and transformational tool for healing, building trust, and community cohesion.
