About the Program

This program promotes health and healing by integrating art with patient care to foster a supportive and engaging environment for our patients, their families, and our healthcare community.

Arts integration within health care settings improves patient and provider experiences and facilitates healthcare delivery and healing. Art promotes a healing environment and can lift our spirits, spark our curiosity and support physical, mental and emotional recovery.

The Arts in Healthcare program is a partnership between the Novak Center for Children’s Health and the Fund for the Arts, made possible by a generous grant from the Lift a Life Foundation.   It integrates visual artwork, performing arts and hands-on educational opportunities for patients, families, providers, and staff.  All of the artwork, performances, and activities have been carefully curated to promote healing, wellness and inspiration.
