A student involved in the arts is four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, and low-income students who are highly engaged in the arts are twice as likely to graduate college as their peers with no arts education. Furthermore, students with high arts participation and low-socioeconomic status have a four percent high school dropout rate – five times lower than that of their low-socioeconomic status peers.

Through the EVERY CHILD Arts in Education Initiative, Fund for the Arts leverages the support of nearly 20,000 donors to engage students, inspire excellence and accelerate academic success. Serving all grade levels, the EVERY CHILD Arts in Education Initiative utilizes the power of the arts to enhance in-school and out-of-school learning.

In the 2015-2016 school year, Fund for the Arts helped to deliver more than 94,000 arts in education experiences to 232 schools and 12 community centers across Kentuckiana.
