What is TAG?
Teacher Arts Grants (TAG) provides funding to K-12 schools to enhance classroom instruction. Programs are directly connected to core learning outcomes and complement what students are learning in the classroom.
How does TAG work?
Teachers and school administrators apply through the Fund for the Arts online grant portal. Applications should be submitted by your school’s TAG liaison. If you do not know who your school’s TAG liaison is, please check with your principal or contact grants@fundforthearts.org. All applications must have principal approval before they are submitted. While a school is awarded the program grant, Fund for the Arts pays arts program providers directly for awarded programs and pays schools directly for awarded field trip bus funds.
Who is eligible to apply for TAG?
K-12 school teachers and administrators in Bullitt and Jefferson County in Kentucky and Clark and Floyd Counties in Indiana may apply for 2022-2023 Teacher Arts Grants (TAG). Elementary schools in Jefferson County Public Schools and New Albany Floyd County Schools are not eligible for TAG. These schools are eligible for 5×5.
If you are interested in TAG but your school or county is not eligible this year, please contact us at grants@fundforthearts.org to explore ways that your school or county may become eligible.
