Drama by George’s mission is to grow students with compassion and character through the power of stories. They are a Louisville-based theatre company that’s provided educational programs centered on social emotional learning (SEL) since 2007, impacting more than 88,000 students.
Drama by George strives to teach not just theatre, but character values as well. In their workshops and drama clubs, they equip students with social and emotional skills — things like self-confidence, creativity, self-discipline, and teamwork skills. Their live performances also address SEL topics, empowering students for bullying prevention, resilience, and more.
