Annual award recognizes excellence in arts leadership
LOUISVILLE, KY, August 18, 2017- Fund for the Arts and Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC (SKO) open nominations for the eighth annual James Welch Sr. Arts Leadership Award, an honor that recognizes substantial impact to the arts made by an individual through significant volunteer commitment and exemplary leadership in the community. Nominations are being accepted Friday, August 18 through Friday, September 1 on the Fund for the Arts’ website http://fundforthearts.org/james-s-welch-sr-arts-leadership-award.
“Fund for the Arts is grateful for Stoll Keenon Ogden’s commitment to helping propel our city forward through the arts,” said Christen Boone, Fund for the Arts President and CEO. “This prestigious award is an opportunity to recognize an exceptional volunteer leader who has made a significant impact on our world-class arts community.”
The award was created in honor of the late James S. Welch Sr., a founding member of SKO’s legacy law firm, who quietly provided decades of strong guidance and support to the arts.
