Just last week we visited with Nate Rust, winner of the 2014 Brown-Forman Cooperage Barrel Stave Art competition – well we didn’t just visit – I shopped! Walking through the Cooperage we saw artisans at every turn making the world’s greatest bourbon barrels. Nate took it one step further and created such an incredible piece of Art I had to own it! So what do you get when you combine one barrel stave with one young man’s imagination? Find the answer when you watch his ArtSTORY below. Nate Rust has an artist’s soul. We are excited to share his story with you.
Watch Nate’s ArtSTORY and then look to the Forum section in this Sunday’s Courier-Journal for a special article on how Art IS crime prevention!
