Arts Education Award: Louisville Visual Art

This award recognizes an organization that educates and inspires Louisville’s children through arts access and engagement—Louisville Visual Art. Louisville Visual Art has been improving lives through visual art education, community outreach, and artist engagement since 1909. As a creative hub now established in the Portland neighborhood, LVA annually reaches 1,000+ students and artists through programming such as Children’s Fine Art Classes, MAP, Artebella, Open Studio Weekend, outreach programs, and weekly calls for artists. We’re thankful for LVA’s efforts such as these that ensure people from every segment of our community have access and opportunity to learn, work, and play through art!
