Louisville Arts Link Guidelines
Fund for the Arts, in partnership with Do502, leverages Do502’s existing events platform to add, upload and manage events into the Fund for the Arts App Louisville Arts Link via the Do502.com administrative portal. Fund for the Arts is the sole administrator of the events calendar and reserves the right to revise, reject or cancel, in whole or in part, any event listing for any reason. Any Louisville-area Arts organization is welcome to upload their events via Do502.com; Fund for the Arts does not guarantee events will be pushed to the Louisville Arts Link App.
One of the following criteria is required for an ‘event’ to be added to Louisville Arts Link App:
- Artistic or cultural events as detailed below
- Festivals and Special Events (with Arts and/or cultural activities)
- Performing Arts: Dance, Theater, Music, Literature, Poetry
- Visual Arts: museum or gallery opening, exhibits, arts, craft shows
- Lectures, Workshops, or other Educational Component
- Library programs that are also classified as one of the categories listed above
- Fundraising galas to support Arts and cultural organizations (listed as Festivals; Special Events)
- Performances, productions, exhibits, galleries, Arts in education programs, seminars, conferences, fundraisers and events produced by but not limited to Fund for the Arts Cultural Partners and/or Arts and Cultural Attractions Council Members
The following will not be generally considered an ‘event’ for the Louisville Arts Link App:
- Events that do not include an Arts/culture component
- Events not open to the public (member meetings, etc.)
- Events outside of the Louisville region (or 50 miles outside of Metro Louisville)
- Corporate functions or vendor solicitations
- Health fairs, social service events, or self-help seminars
- Religious services or events that have religious or sectarian purposes
- Non-Arts Sales, shopping or merchandising events
- Sporting Events
- Entrepreneurial, networking and/or recruitment events
- Adult entertainment, lewd or otherwise overtly offensive events that do not reflect Fund for the Arts Mission
