As you look around this week, take time to notice the doers. The people who stop to pick up a piece of trash off the sidewalk, or open the door for you. The people who are always there to lend a helping hand. The people who not only dream the dreams, but make them realities. Living in a city rich with Arts, I see those doers every day. And I just want to say thank you to every one of them! And thank you Louisville for being an epicenter of doers! Do you have a doer in your life to whom you want to say thank you? Let me know! Why just this week I stopped into the Brown Theatre to see some doers in action building the new set for Kentucky Opera. So here is a big shout out and THANK YOU to the stage crew and set designers for Kentucky Opera’s Simon Boccanegra!
If you are in town this weekend, stop by the Brown Theatre, and enjoy this incredible opera. And while you are there, check out the new chandelier in the inner lobby, gorgeous! This week’s video blog comes to you from the balcony of the Brown, and from the gratitude in my heart:
