What a month February has been! Did you catch Teddy Abrams’ exciting inaugural concert with the Louisville Orchestra? Did you fall in love all over again at Romeo et Juliette with the Kentucky Opera? And how about the fantastic opening of the 38th Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville. No matter the direction of your affection, February has been an “Art Love” month for sure! And speaking of “Love”, you know how much I love stories, especially Arts stories. Today’s story began with my announcement to retire at the end of this campaign. This is a real tribute to our board of directors and the staff at the Fund. Their amazing leadership has made this transition possible. My gift to you is from now on every two weeks I will be sending a new ArtSTORY right to your inbox. This community is a treasure trove of Arts tales of growth and success. We are starting out our adventure with an ArtSTORY very close to home.
Today we are proud to feature one of our own: Tenoramentae Young, Manager of Guest Relations at the Fund for the Arts and Music Director for Emmanuel Baptist Church in West Louisville.
