Summer Camps 2014
StageOne Family Theatre DramaWorks Camps offers 17 summer sessions for students 4 – 18! All classes take place at the state-of-the-art Lincoln Performing Arts School, 930 E. Main Street in Louisville with half day and full day sessions beginning June 16 through July 25.
Younger students act out stories and become their favorite characters with imaginative play, while older students build performance skills – all with the professional guidance of StageOne Family Theatre’s teaching artists. All DramaWorks classes encourage students to explore the fundamentals of acting and movement through the use of their body, voice and imagination to gain self-confidence and poise in an atmosphere of fun and laughter.
DramaWorks classes encourage students of all ages to explore and practice the fundamentals-and the fun- of drama. StageOne Family Theatre’s professional artists/educators provide active ways to encourage imaginative thinking, effective communication and positive collaboration. Students learn to dramatically use their voices, bodies, and imaginations to gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. Students gain self-confidence and poise in an atmosphere of fun and laughter.
We offer week long themed camps for ages 4-18 years of age.
