Some people call it a diamond anniversary but here at the Fund for the Arts, its just one more birthday we get to spend making Louisville a great American city!  It has been just 65 years since Mayor Farnsley set out to create a way for the Arts to not just survive, but to thrive in this community.  And thanks to parents who make sure their children dream, teachers who understand you need the Arts to develop minds, and citizens who know Main Street is lined with buses headed to Arts events because of their dollars – we are THRIVING!

We have been hopping all over town from Republic Bank to Brown-Forman, from TARC to the Kentucky Lottery. And if we haven’t seen you yet, don’t worry – we will see you soon!  Until then, we have a special request for you.  Watch my latest video blog below, and find out what Fund for the Arts needs from you during our 65th birthday this April.
