The Baptist HealthCare Services and Hospitals 2012 unified campaign kicked off yesterday with a bang!

Employees heading to the cafeteria for lunch were welcomed with popcorn, cows, and music.

An artist painting a portrait while everyone watched,  a raffle for a hand-made quilt, and a gift card basket loaded with goodies were also part of the fundraising festivities. Todd the DJ entertained everyone, and a few brave souls serenaded the group with karaoke solos, cheered on by the cafeteria audience.

The cows were there to remind everyone to pledge to the campaign on the Baptist Computer OWheels, or C.O.W.s, and MooMoo the Cow filmed a “How to Pledge” video currently running on the BHS network.   The Chick Fil-A cow and MooMoo danced with employees and handed out gift cards for sandwiches.

The BHS unified campaign solicits contribution for the Baptist Foundation, the Baptist Employee Assistance Program, the Fund for the Arts, and Metro United Way. This month-long campaign is strongly supported by Baptist employees, who rank in the top twenty-five of FFTA workplace campaigns every year. The campaign theme “Together we can change the world” reminds us we need everyone’s support and commitment to succeed!
