Will you still need me when I’m 64? That’s right, the Fund for the Arts is celebrating its 64th anniversary! And we want you to be a part of it. We will be giving things away on Facebook all month, leading up to a grand prize giveaway! I’ll give you a hint… it has something to do with the opening line of this email. But you will have to wait!
What a month it has been already! Kentucky Shakespeare serves its 1,000,000th child. Actors Theatre’s Humana Festival of New American Plays concludes a groundbreaking run which included partnering with Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts School. It was an incredible experience for the kids. And I traveled to Washington DC with Jim Clark, Lindy Casebier, Mary Michael Corbett, & Lori Meadows all in the name of Arts Advocacy Day. What an opportunity it was to visit with our representatives and meet with arts leaders from across the country! Watch this week’s video blog and see how we are celebrating our anniversary with our friends at Humana, #1 donor to the arts in the region!
PS. L1C4!
