In the past month Fund for the Arts has had the privilege of attending 120+ meetings as part of the Louisville Metro Government employee campaign. Mayor Greg Fisher hosted the Campaign Kickoff event, making sure his employees understood the importance of charitable giving to our city.
Since then we’ve been to the Louisville Zoo, talked to our friends over at Solid Waste Management, attended every Metro Police and Fire & Rescue roll call, and much, much more. We can’t thank our city employees enough for welcoming us, as well as our friends at Metro United Way, Community Health Charities and the WHAS Crusade for Children, into their offices, board rooms, break rooms, and aquariums!
Our Louisville Metro Government campaign finishes up this month and we are thrilled with the support we’ve received so far. THANK YOU to Louisville Metro Government! Together through the Arts we create a great American city!
