The Louisville Leopard Percussionists is a nonprofit music education program dedicated to providing children with an opportunity to explore and perform music in an engaging, collaborative setting. Their mission centers on fostering creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love of music while ensuring access for students of all backgrounds. By emphasizing both musical excellence and personal growth, the organization seeks to build confidence, teamwork, and community among its young musicians.

The program focuses primarily on percussion and ensemble-based learning. Students, ranging from second through twelfth grade, study a wide variety of musical styles including jazz, Latin, pop, classical, and original compositions. Through rehearsals, performances, and workshops, participants not only develop technical skills but also gain experience in improvisation, arranging, and collective musicianship.

Programming is designed to be both educational and performance-driven, with students taking part in local concerts as well as national events and collaborations. The group is known for its dynamic performances that showcase the talents of young musicians while inspiring audiences with the joy and power of ensemble music-making. In every aspect, the Louisville Leopard Percussionists emphasize accessibility, inclusivity, and the belief that music has the power to transform lives. The Louisville Leopard Percussionists – Ordinary kids transformed by an extraordinary musical experience since 1993.
