LOUISVILLE, KY, August 8, 2018 – Fund for the Arts and Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC (SKO) open nominations for the ninth annual James Welch Sr. Arts Leadership Award, an honor that recognizes substantial impact to the arts made by an individual through significant volunteer commitment and exemplary leadership in the community. Nominations are being accepted Wednesday, August 8 through Wednesday, August 22 on the Fund for the Arts’ website

This prestigious award is an opportunity to recognize an exceptional volunteer leader who has made a significant impact on our world-class arts community,” said Christen Boone, Fund for the Arts President and CEO. “Fund for the Arts is grateful for Stoll Keenon Ogden’s support as we work toward creating a more competitive, creative, and compassionate community through the arts.”

The award was created in honor of the late James S. Welch Sr., a founding member of Stoll Keenon Ogden’s legacy law firm, who quietly provided decades of strong guidance and support to the arts.
