Happy Flag Day! Stand up and salute Old Glory. The most fortunate thing that has ever happened to me is that I was born in America. That’s right. Aren’t we lucky?
We saw Shrek the Musical with two of our daughters Sunday at the Kentucky Center. The place was packed with parents and their children. Happy, hopeful, having fun. Two miles away in Old Louisville hundreds saw our beloved Kentucky Shakespeare perform under the stars in Central Park for free. Click HERE for performance schedule. We live in a great American city!
Let’s celebrate together today – Tuesday, June 14th. Join me at California Pizza Kitchen on Shelbyville Road where 20% of the cost of your meal will go to support the Arts in our community. Click HERE to print the flyer you must present to your server at the restaurant.
I love the red, white and blue. It takes me back to my days in high school at Thomas Jefferson. Yes, they voted me Miss Patriot. Some things never change! She’s a grand old flag, she’s a high flyin’ flag…..
Americans are generous Patriots. Be a Patriotic Pizza Lover and come to California Pizza Kitchen. See you there!
PS: Try the whole wheat BLT pizza. It’s FABULOUS! Wear your red, white and blue. Send me a photo.
2gether through the Arts we create a great American city!
