Neighborhood Art Academy

Piloted in 2017, the Neighborhood Art Academy (NAA) Initiative establishes and expands the capacity of neighborhood-based youth arts training programs during out-of-school hours. NAAs provide professional arts training, mentorship, and safe creative environments for youth in West Louisville.

Neighborhood Art Academies to date:

AMPED

  • AMPED, the first Neighborhood Art Academy, is a free music program “for Louisville’s young minds to explore their creativity through the power of music. AMPED participants can learn songwriting, music composition, recording, engineering, videography, photography, and more.”
