The Louisville Youth Choir and Sacred Heart Academy present an all-female Lascito Coro (Legacy Choir), a unique all-female choir comprised of alumnae of the Louisville Youth Choir and Sacred Heart Academy, will close its 4th annual summer concert series on Sunday, July 31st at 3 p.m. at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, 310 West Stephen Foster Ave., Bardstown. The performance repertoire will include classic a cappella and accompanied women’s choir choral standards of both sacred and secular texts, with additional contemporary favorites and multi-cultural selections.
The concert is FREE. Donations will be accepted at the door with proceeds benefiting the LYC Scholarship Fund. Lascito Coro is directed by Terri E. Foster and accompanied by Thomas A. Seacat. The Louisville Youth Choir will begin its 45rd season in August and is annually comprised of over 100 singers from more than 40 schools and home schools in the Louisville area and six surrounding counties.
