I just wanted to write a quick note of thanks on behalf of our school, Simpsonville Elementary, and specifìcaìiy the second grade students in my class who were able to come to a May performance of Lyie The Crocodile. The piay was wonderful; the actors were engaging and the length and complexity just right for my students. I also appreciate the flexibility with which you handled our reservation, specifically Toby at Stage One, allowing us to come a couple minutes late after our bus did not show up at our school in time.
The fact that you were able to offer us free tickets to the performance was such a blessing. Without those tickets, our students not have been able to afford the trip. The opportunity to offer such a high quality experience at no cost to our students was fantastic. The play was the first live performance that many of the students had ever seen (apart from school productions) and I know the level of professionalism and the grandness of the venue really left an impression on them. I appreciate what you are doing for the arts community of Louisville and for the surrounding areas, thank you for allowing us to be part of it!
