The Louisville Youth Choir Summer Camp kicked off their week moving and grooving with choreographer David Thurmond in a workshop cleverly titled, “Dance Seminar-MOVE WHAT?!…BUT I’M A SINGER”.
The kids are acting as the demonstration choir today for the Choristers Guild International Institute Conference being held at Presbyterian Seminary. At the LYC summer camp you get the total package! These children are learning to sing, dance, act, and they even headed over to the Science Center yesterday to learn about lung health. See, science is everywhere!
The LYC would like to give a special thanks to the Louisville Water company for providing water bottles for the campers. We couldn’t sing without them!
Join us this Friday for a closing concert at 4:00 Friday at the Ursuline Arts Center on Sacred Heart’s Campus.
