Arts in Neighborhoods celebrates art, artists, and arts organizations who make up the unique regions and neighborhoods across Greater Louisville. These events are co-hosted by Fund for the Arts and arts, community, and civic leaders that are local to the regions where each event takes place. Arts in Neighborhoods showcases the art happening right down the street in your own neighborhood, while also encouraging you to explore art in other regions of the community.

All events are free and open to people of all ages.

South Louisville Art Crawl

The South Louisville Art Crawl, which took place on April 10, 2022, was the second event of our Arts in Neighborhoods initiative. The Art Crawl took patrons on a trolley tour of the Iroquois, Southside, and Woodlawn neighborhoods as they enjoyed arts experiences from a variety of artists including the Academy of Flamenco Arts, Plein Air Painter, River Lotus Lion Dance, Liberty Tattoo & Art Studio, and so many more! Community members were able to enjoy performances from Kentucky Shakespeare on the trolley while moving from one stop to the next.
