Cultural Pass offers young people ages 0-21 and their families in the Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana area FREE access to over 150 arts, culture, science, history, heritage, and nature activities during the summer.

How to Cultural Pass

Who Can Use the Cultural Pass?

  • Participants must have or be eligible for a card from one of the following libraries:
    • Bullitt County Public Library
    • Charlestown Clark County Public Library
    • The Floyd County Library
    • Harrison County Public Library
    • Jeffersonville Township Public Library
    • Louisville Free Public Library
  • Passholders ages 0–21 can use the Cultural Pass to receive free admission to one event hosted by each participating Partner.
    • Guardians are NOT limited to one admission per Partner if accompanying different Passholders within their Family Profile. 
  • The Pass is linked to a Family Profile, which includes the names of each Passholder and guardian(s) in the family.
  • Passholders under 18 years old may bring a guardian who also receives free admission.
  • Free guardian admissions are limited as follows:
    • 1 Passholder = 1 free guardian
    • 2+ Passholders = maximum of 2 free guardians per family
  • Cultural Pass is intended for individual and family use only and is not intended for clubs, group outings, or similar events

Additional Information for all Passholders

  • A digital or printed QR code from the Family Profile is scanned at each event check-in.
  • Partners may host multiple events at various venues across the region.
  • The Pass covers admission to one Cultural Pass event per Partner; special exhibits and concessions are not included unless stated otherwise.
  • Venues reserve the right to deny entry if rules or specific venue restrictions are not followed.
  • We acknowledge that some of the experiences available through Cultural Pass address difficult or mature content. In determining if you would like to engage with a particular Cultural Pass experience, we encourage you to reach out to the partner directly to learn more about their content and programming.

FREE Programming for Seniors (65+)

  • As part of the Cultural Pass program, FREE programming is available to Seniors 65+ from Cultural Pass partners across the region from May 30 – August 9, 2026.
  • Click here to access the list of FREE Programming for Seniors 65+
  • In the past, a Senior Pass or Senior Pass app was needed for admission — NO PASS is needed for 2026 programming.
    • No pre-registration or ticketing of any kind is required unless specified by the partner.
    • Partners may require identifying or contact information for reporting processes as part of check-in, including but not limited to ID, email address, and zip code
  • Event admission fee coverage is for Seniors 65+ ONLY, unless otherwise specified by the partner.

  • Ensure you’re connected either to a strong wifi or data signal   
  • Close and reopen the app   
  • Delete and redownload the app to ensure you have the most recent version  
  • Ensure there are no typos in the email or password—both are case sensitive! 
  • If you logged in with a Google or Apple account, you will need to re-log in that same way or an error message will occur  
  • If you logged in with an email, you will need to use that login rather than logging in with Google or Apple

Cross the Bridge to Creativity with Cultural Pass Venues and Activities

Cultural Pass provides young people age 0-21 with free access to over 50 arts, culture, and heritage venues across Greater Louisville. The programming made accessible through Cultural Pass promotes creativity, inspiration, educational opportunities, and lifelong learning about where we come from (our heritage), who we are (our culture), and how we express both of those things (art).

Cultural Pass is facilitated by the Fund for the Arts and a steering committee comprised of Louisville Metro Government, representatives from all participating libraries, the Arts and Cultural Alliance, Kentuckiana Cultural Consortium, and community members.
