The West Louisville Performing Arts Academy also known in the community as the West Louisville Boys Choir and the West Louisville Girls Choir, (WLBC/WLGC) will present the 11th Annual Hope Awards Dinner Concert. It will be held on Saturday, December 10th at the beautiful Muhammad Ali Center in downtown Louisville. This year’s honoree and keynote speaker is renowned sculptor Ed Hamilton.

The semi-formal affair will take place starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $150.00 per person and a table of 10 is $1,500.00.

The emcee for this year’s 11 th Annual Hope Awards will be WAVE 3 Television’s Anchor Dawne Gee.

During the event, both the West Louisville Boys and the West Louisville Girls Choirs will be in concert. Just image when you walk into the event on the top floor of the Ali Center. It will be transformed into a winter wonderland with a festive holiday mood when community leaders and supporters of both choirs will come out and celebrate the accomplishments the organization has made over the past year.

New home for West Louisville Boys & West Louisville Girls Choirs

  • December 2010, Opening Night of the Nutcracker by West Louisville Girls Choir
  • 2010 Southwestern mini-tour (Little Rock, Arkansas; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Houston, Texas)
  • December 2010, Grammy Award winning composer Jay Flippins commissioned Christmas music for West Louisville Boys & West Louisville Girls Choirs
