The Fund for the Arts accepts applications for Community Arts Grants. Arts organizations throughout the region are encouraged to submit an application for program support in April to be considered. Applications are available through the Fund for the Arts website every April

“The Fund for the Arts strives to be relevant, innovative and evolutionary in all that we do. We see the Community Arts Grants as a way to advance the Fund for the Arts mission of maximizing the impact of the arts on economic development, education and quality of life for everyone,” says Barbara Sexton Smith, President & CEO.

Grants will be awarded based on the applicant’s focus on engaging youth in the Arts, and creating a safe, healthy, educated and vibrant region. Grants will generally range from $1,000 to $15,000. Other guidelines for the grant process can be found on the Fund for the Arts website.

2013 Grant Applications are being reviewed and will be announce at the beginning of May.
