DESCRIPTION:The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum is a Richardsonian Romanesque Mansion\, built between 1893-1895 for wealthy industrialist Theophilus Conrad. The home has been lovingly restored to the early 1900s when the second family\, the Caldwell Family\, resided in the home. This Summer\, The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum will be open for Self-Guided Tours between the hours of 12 and 2:30 pm Wednesday-Sunday for Cultural Passholders. We invite visitors to explore this ornate mansion and learn what life was like for men\, women\, children\, and the staff employed by two prominent families during Louisville’s Gilded Age. Cultural Passholders will be welcomed with a few more surprises during their visit\, including access to two exhibits; “Hidden in Plain Sight: The Lives of Servants at 1402 St. James Court” and “The Indoor Victorian Garden Exhibit (During June Only)”. \nAges 6 & Up

DESCRIPTION:Experience theatre under the stars at Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Central Park in Historic Old Louisville. The season kicks off with a beautiful production of ROMEO AND JULIET\, followed by the hilarious hijinks of the farce THE COMEDY OF ERRORS\, and Shakespeare’s magical final play\, the comedy THE TEMPEST. The season will again feature two weeks of rotating repertory in July in which all three productions rotate nightly. In addition\, Kentucky Shakespeare’s Globe Players professional training program for high school students will present JULIUS CAESAR\, followed by Louisville Ballet’s SHAKESPEARE IN DANCE: LADY LEAR.\n\nThe festival features food trucks opening at 6 pm\, the Kids’ Globe tent with interactive pre-show activities starting at 7 pm\, and pre-show performances from various community groups starting at 7:15 pm. DESCRIPTION:The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum is a Richardsonian Romanesque Mansion\, built between 1893-1895 for wealthy industrialist Theophilus Conrad. The home has been lovingly restored to the early 1900s when the second family\, the Caldwell Family\, resided in the home. This Summer\, The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum will be open for Self-Guided Tours between the hours of 12 and 2:30 pm Wednesday-Sunday for Cultural Passholders. We invite visitors to explore this ornate mansion and learn what life was like for men\, women\, children\, and the staff employed by two prominent families during Louisville’s Gilded Age. Cultural Passholders will be welcomed with a few more surprises during their visit\, including access to two exhibits; “Hidden in Plain Sight: The Lives of Servants at 1402 St. James Court” and “The Indoor Victorian Garden Exhibit (During June Only)”. \nAges 6 & Up

SUMMARY:Louisville Youth Choir
DESCRIPTION:Experience choral music presented by Louisville’s only traditional\, adult soprano and alto choir ensemble\, Lascito Coro (Legacy Choir). This choir began as a collaboration of alumni of Sacred Heart Academy (SHA) and the Louisville Youth Choir (LYC) and is now open to all adult soprano and alto singers in the region. The choir performs a summer season annually that includes the classics to the pops. DESCRIPTION:Experience theatre under the stars at Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Central Park in Historic Old Louisville. The season kicks off with a beautiful production of ROMEO AND JULIET\, followed by the hilarious hijinks of the farce THE COMEDY OF ERRORS\, and Shakespeare’s magical final play\, the comedy THE TEMPEST. The season will again feature two weeks of rotating repertory in July in which all three productions rotate nightly. In addition\, Kentucky Shakespeare’s Globe Players professional training program for high school students will present JULIUS CAESAR\, followed by Louisville Ballet’s SHAKESPEARE IN DANCE: LADY LEAR.\n\nThe festival features food trucks opening at 6 pm\, the Kids’ Globe tent with interactive pre-show activities starting at 7 pm\, and pre-show performances from various community groups starting at 7:15 pm. The main stage performances begin at 8 pm.\n\nPets on leashes are welcome!
