The Fund for the Arts hosts an inaugural Festival for the Arts, a celebration of the arts, artists, and arts organizations that make up our healthy and vibrant community. This day-long festival will feature performances, atmosphere engagements and Artist Village table activation experiences in a free festival for multigenerational audiences.

1:00pm-6:00pm: Main Stage performances, Kids Stage performances, Artist Village table activations and Buskers/Atmosphere Performers
6:00pm: Buskers/Atmosphere Performers, Artist Village table activations and Kids Stage performances close
6:00-8:00pm: Headliner performances
Event Location:
Repurposed Event Venue in the 600 block of Main Street and Washington Street between 6th and 7th streets
Artist Fees:
Main stage and Kid Stage Performances (approx. 20-minute performances): $500 per artist or group
Artist Village table activation experiences (1pm-6pm): $500 per table experience
Busker performances (2-hour shifts): $300 per artist or group
Who may apply?
Artists, artist collectives, and arts organizations from across Greater Louisville are invited to submit proposals.
Deadline to Submit Proposals
Proposals must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. EST, May 31, 2022
Selected applicants will be notified by mid June and contacted regarding scheduling and billing.
